About our Speaker
Vishnu Patankar is a Software Design Engineer in the Security Technology Unit at Microsoft. His work at Microsoft in the past 7 years has dealt with developing Security Management products for the Windows operating system. He holds US Patents for technologies invented and developed in the security space.
Before joining Microsoft, Vishnu was a Component Design Engineer at Intel Corporation where he wrote simulation models for multiprocessor cache coherence protocols. Vishnu has an MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Management Certification from Stanford University, an MS in Mathematics and a BE in Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani (India). He has spoken at international conferences and is a regular college campus speaker.
