Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE)

Welcome to the UPE Berkeley Alumni site! If you are a UPE Alumni who graduated from Berkeley, but who has not yet signed up your contact info with us, then this page exists for you. As you must have heard upon joining, UPE membership is membership for life. As an organization, we would like to make sure that our alumni are not forgotten simply because they've graduated. To this end, we hope that you feel the same about UPE and will leave your contact info with us.

Why should you join?

Alumni are important to us here at Berkeley UPE. Not only do we want to keep good on our proclamation of lifetime membership, but as people who are personally affiliated with life after graduation, your knowledge and experience can be of great help to our undergraduate members. To this end, we have a great need for you, and we would like to keep such a relationship mutually beneficial. As such, we strive to offer a variety of benefits and events for your membership.

Membership Entitlements

As a member of the UPE Berkeley Alumni Group, you are automatically entitled to join us for recreational events such as banquets and picnics, in which you will have the opportunity to network with current members and generally have a great time.

Alumni Appreciation

In addition to our existing events, we at UPE Berkeley also plan to have special alumni events that will demonstrate our appreciation for your membership and which also gives you the opportunity to make yourself and your work known to UPE members and officers, many of whom will become future leaders in academia and industry.

Contact Concerns

Some alumni worry that if they give out their info, they will see no end to pesterings from undergraduates and advertisements. This is why at UPE Berkeley, we do not make public your contact info. Your contact will be known only to responsible UPE members and will never be given out to other organizations without your consent, so you'll never have to worry about contacts from parties you do not want to be contacted by.

Networking Between People

Of course, some alumni have the opposite concern, in which case we are happy to announce that membership in UPE entitles you to both networking with all the bright people who make up our organization and to the companies that come to us for recruitment. In fact, one of our key goals in alumni relations is to become a nexus for members all over the world to connect, associate, and benefit from their mutual acquaintences.

Simply sign up, and we will contact you with the details of your membership. Once we've verified your alumni status, we will email you a login account with which to access all the features and events entitled to you as an UPE Berkeley alumni.
