Helped design a framework which simulates a computer processor on top of mobile code; framework does on-the-fly binary translation from native machine code to Java bytecode. This framework allows the execution of existing applications in a sandbox environment, where its effects can be observed and controlled; that is, if a program does something malicious, we can prevent its effects from harming other processes or the operating system. |
